About

My name is Vicram Chatterjee, a 21 year old filmmaker from Chicago, Illinois.

Ever since I started making movies back in 6th grade, creating stories really captivated me. After endless hours of practice, I started to post my own original content on YouTube. I’ve worked on a multitude of projects since then, each teaching me more about why I love what I do.

In December of 2020, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where I was the Social Media Head and Web Designer of the ΔKA Cinematic Fraternity, and a videographer for Texas Athletics.

In my last semester of college, I started full-time at JW Entertainment as the Director of Photography and have worked my way up to be the Creative Director of JW Entertainment. We are a food media production company with an audience of over 8 million followers across all social media, and average at least 1 million views a week on our content.  

Throughout my years as a creative, I have collaborated with amazing content creators, worked with multiple companies such as Netflix and Samsung, and have won honors including a Student Emmy Award for Best Director in the Midwest Region in 2017.

I strive to make my work better every day and I hope that through this site you enjoy my hard work and passion.

2016 CHICAGO/MIDWEST NATAS Crystal Pillar Best Director Award -2017

In 2017, I won the Best Director Emmy award for my film Transit. This prestigious honor was awarded to me by the National Academy of Television, Arts, and Sciences.

In 2016, I also earned an honorable mention award for Student Excellence in Film and Television.

All-American High School Film Festival Finalist - 2016

In October 2016 my film, Youth, was chosen to be apart of the 2016 AAHSFF Film Festival, the largest international high school film festival in the world. I placed as a finalist in the music video category. 

1st Place Los Angeles International Film Festival

In February 2016, Youth, won 1st place in Los Angeles in the LAIFFA Film Festival in the Music Video Category.

I’VE WORKED WITH

JW Entertainment

Creative Director for internet chef Joshua Weissman. Joshua garners, on average, 800,000 views per video and has an accumulated 8 million and counting fans across social media. With Joshua, I’ve filmed and edited various sponsored content, social media posts, and over 75 videos.

Most notably we’ve launched and maintained three series and counting, with top-performing videos charting highly on YouTube’s trending page.
